Save Our Seas Shark Centre

The Save our Seas Shark Centre USA (SOS SC) is a new program at Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Campus, supported in part by the Save Our Seas Foundation, the Save Our Seas Foundation - US, Nova Southeastern University, and private businesses and individuals concerned with improving the state of the world's oceans. SOS SC scientists conduct research, education and conservation projects aimed at identifying and finding solutions to the major threats facing the world's elasmobranch (shark and ray) populations. By developing these solutions, the SOS SC provides critical information to governments and international NGOs to guide better management, conservation and recovery of elasmobranchs on a global basis.
